Race season is now in full force ... Enduro World Series, DH World Cup, and then a host of local and regional enduro, DH, and cross country races. Whether you're a sponsored racer, privateer, or weekend shredder, many of you are now getting into race season mode as you dial in your routine. What to bring? How much? Sleeping arrangements. Food. Travel. Oh, and then there's your bike ... are you flying solo? Do you have a mechanic? Lots of questions as you tweak things from race to race and weekend to weekend.

There are radically different theories or approaches when it comes to brewing coffee. Heck, these completely diverse ways of thinking reflect a deeper philosophical approach to life. Not to try to play armchair psychologist here, but how you brew your coffee reflects much about who you really are. So what are those approaches? Life can be deceptive. Then we are bombarded by a million competing voices throughout the day. The media and marketing world are not purists as there is usually an agenda. We're no different. We have an agenda too. We're biased, unfair, and slant every conversation to our own leanings and value system.
And just like that the race season is beginning to wind down. There's one more stop on the Enduro World Series tour, the World Cup is over, and slowly but surely riders are making their way back home. Some are picking up life and jobs that were in place before the craze of race season. Now? Plans are already under way for the 2017 season. New potential sponsors, saving money, off-season training and weight training, and even taking a break from riding on dirt. So what else can you do to prepare for next season?
